RACE 4: WHITE CHIFFON broke quickly and went right to the front. She set a fast pace while under severe pressure. She blew the race open with a fast 5th furlong and won by daylight. Better yet next time.
RACE 9: CLEAR SAILING was taken back to last, came widest of all on the stretch turn, finished powerfully to get up in the final yards. Has not yet shown us her best.

#1 BEACH VIBE ALIVE opened a clear lead with fast opening quarter, held a daylight lead all the way and drew well clear late. #9 LOVER'S ENVOY moved into 2nd on the turn, finished steadily to hold the place, although no danger to the easy winner.

#2 TRULY LUCKY shook loose on the lead and was allowed to set a controlled pace. That sealed the doom of her rivals, as she was never menaced in the drive. #8 WINGS OF JOY chased the pace in 4th, rallied on the outside and took a narrow decision for the place. #5 SEALED BID stalked along the rail, also finished well to get 3rd.

1 BEACH VIBE ALIVE
Finished with good energy going 5 furlongs but came up a half-length short. The additional furlong should help and Lovell has her improving with every start. Speed to get a good trip from the rail.
3 GULCH’S BELLE
Closed from the back of the pack to miss by a half-length under these exact conditions. The switch from Sellers to Albarado is a plus. Strong contender and there is enough weak speed to give her a fast pace to close into.
8 RENATA
Hit the board in all of her first 6 starts prior to the failed route experiment last time. Trainer Brett Brinkman wins big with the "route race as prep" maneuver. She is another late runner who will be hard to hold in the drive.
11 YURA DAISY IF U DO
Tired after making a middle move when dropped into a maiden claimer for her 2nd start. Tom Amoss was waiting with the halter and apparently likes what he got. Normally Amoss freshens his last out claims, but he brings this filly back in 3 weeks.

#1A CLEAR SAILING was taken back to last, came widest of all on the stretch turn, finished powerfully to get up in the final yards. #2 FIGHTER WING cut out a solid pace, held a clear lead all the way and was caught in the final jump. #6 WAR ECHO was further back than usual, circled the field on the stretch turn but could offer only a mild challenge.

5yo mare has won 3 of her 4 starts on this dirt course. She appeared well placed in her first of the meet, an “off the turfer”, but was never close. She may now be ready and she drops into an easier spot after another 10 weeks off. Good works continue for top trainer Cody Autrey.
