Even money favorite FIERCE THUNDER was allowed to go to the lead and set a slow pace then had plenty left to easily beat these. Drifted up late from his 3-5 odds. CHARLIE TRUMPER stalked slow pace outside winner. Went after him to the top of the stretch, then could not keep pace but was very game to hold off MASKED MAN who had every chance to snatch the place. Rest of the field was no factor.
