3-2 favorite PACIFIC TSUNAMI was off slow and was forced to chase along the deeper rail which was unexpected as I thought he would be in the lead. Swung out top of the stretch and wore down a very stubborn CHAPEL BY THE SEA who ran big stalking a lively pace from the start. Both horses trained by the hot Bret Calhoun. CUVEE STAR was far back entering the stretch. Passed tired horses late for 3rd but was no match for the top 2.
