(# 13) TOTAL GENTLEMAN is a deserving favorite after a solid debut running 2nd behind stable mate OMNICIENT who came back to win impressively today. Bred well for a wet track. From the hot Asmussen barn. (# 10) BUDGET Has run well all 3 starts. Rallied wide for 4th in last, but galloped out well past the wire suggesting that he is clearly at his best going long. (# 14) CHARLIE TRUMPER ran a good 2nd in last start in an off the turf race. Showed much improved early speed catching a wet track for the first time. (# 9) MIZZEN’S WAKE has shown steady improvement for the red hot Dollase barn. Has good tactical speed. Back on dirt and races over a wet track for the first time.
