RACE FIVE OBSERVATIONS by The Wizard on Saturday, March 28, 2009

9-1 winner ALPHADOODLE found herself with a clear lead leaving the gate after the other mian speed DANCING REBECCA ducked inwards at the break impeding SAX APPEAL. The winner wired the field rascing down along the rail and held gamely despite never changing leads. 4-5 favorite COACH MIKE was off a step slow. Sustained a strong wide rally through the turn and continued very wide in the stretch. Unable to run down the upset winner, but was well clear of SAX APPEAL in fine effort. Sax Appeal took up at the break then quickly moved into perfect striking position. Dead aim along the iside through the stretch, but came up empty late.
