(# 10) ANTRIUM COUNTY Ran a surprisingly big race when jumped into stakes company, finishing a close 3rd last time. He raced just off the leaders and was still there at the wire. He has always seemed a bit better on dirt, but he sure looked good on this turf course that time. He won an amazing 10 of his 15 starts last year. Should beat these at a short price. (# 9) LUDWIG Comes off a game effort in which he lost a head-bobbing decision after dueling every step of the way on a slow pace. May get a similar pace scenario this afternoon. In his first start of the meet he was the winner after also fighting it out through modest fractions. (# 3) MY BALLET Despite being hung out to dry on the first turn he finished a very useful 4th after being off the track for two years. Good chance he can use that effort as a springboard to better. He gets a pivotal rider upgrade from Dugas to Jacinto. Contender at what should be double-digit odds. (# 7) CAJOLE 9yo has not raced on turf very much recently but 5 of his 12 wins came on the lawn. The past classer makes his 2nd start off the claim by Cody Autrey. He comes off a dominating win over a soft field of conditioned claimers. Theriot to Hernandez. (# 8) CAT MAN Back on dirt in 2nd start off the claim. Fast closing 3rd when last seen on the turf. Gets an expected lively pace to close into. Barn is very "live" this meet.
