RACE SIX TRIP NOTES by The Wizard on Saturday, May 30, 2009

1st time starter TRIPLE CREEK, scores at 6-1 in a sharp effort. Sat a good trip tracking in fourth along the rail. Eased outside for the stretch run, surging to the lead in the final yards. Longshot DEB'S CONTE chased in third while wide backstretch and through the turn. Continued on willingly through the stretch, in a good effort, in his turf debut. BIG BEAR HUG had no excuse, setting a slow pace from the start. Gave ground grudgingly late, but should of held on better with the trip he had. 8-5 favorite AND THE BEAST, had dead on the leaders at the top of the stretch, but came up empty when it counted. Needs dirt only.
