Drew clear with complete authority at the 1/8th pole. DOMINICAN, closed widest in the stretch, to be a clear 2nd, but no threat to the winner. Both 3-1 co-favorites CHEROKEE ARTIST and CORAGIL CAT, showed nothing, especially the latter, who acted sore in the stretch.
