A horse with a future, she easily demolished an overmatched field today. (7) HOCHIS PONCHIS closed well to get the place. while backing sprinting over a conventional dirt surface. (2) GIRLS IMAGE - returning from a prolonged layoff, ran third in a useful effort with blinkers off in her first race for new trainer Tom Amoss. She might be best suited to a shorter distance and a drier track going forward.
