(8) WILDEYESOUTHERNBOY - rallied strongly between rivals around the far turn, soundly bumped with another runner turning for home, recovered nicely to sustain his bid, drew away to a daylight lead and then held a safe margin to the finish. (4) BIG RUSHLET - Circled runners around the far turn while far back, continued to make up ground in the stretch, and then finished strongly late without threatening the winner. (9) PUBLISH - closed belatedly while widest of all in the stretch to pass tired horses and collected the show.
