Way overbet BELLA BLISS, at 4-5 odds, opened up a huge lead early on. Continued to hold what looked like an insurmountable lead into the stretch. Could not hold off the grinding rally of 3-1 winner REINE DES COUERS, who nailed the chalk at the wire. Favorite had no excuse!!
