#4 FROSTY MELODY set the pace closely pursued by the pack. Three lengths covered the field after a half. #1 OKEFENOKEE stalked the pace from the inside, went for a hole at the top of the stretch but had it close on her. James Graham then took her up, swung to the outside and closed with a powerful rush to win going away. Dale Bennett has this one in the best form of her career. #6 AY YOU'RE ADORABLE was wide every step of the way. She looked like she might win it until the winner got loose.
